There is nothing quite like a really good sandwich.
They are versatile and most are easy to take on the go! Hot or cold, white or wheat, there is truly something for everyone when it comes to crafting and finding the perfect sandwich.
We have put together the top five sandwich shops (with our suggested favorite) in the Treasure Valley!
4348 Chinden Blvd, Garden City, ID
6899 Overland Rd, Boise, ID
Of course we have to start with this well known classic sandwich shop! Serving the Treasure Valley since 1978, Cobby's has two locations and is always using the freshest ingredients. Our favorite sandwch at this spot is the 15 on sourdough. The foccacia bread is also a very good choice. Be sure to stop at the chip box and fruit table for your free chips and fruit!
220 S Broadway Ave
Boise, ID 83702
Saturday and Sunday CLOSED
Their mission is "making real food for real people" and have been open since 1997. They craft all their sandwiches with fresh ingredients and are packed with flavor. The Ruben is the must try and the potato salad is out of this world. Which makes this a perfect spot for lunch or happy hours.
342 E. STATE STREET
EAGLE, ID 83616
Tasso is a style of ham that they cure and smoke into a very tasty and succulent ham you cannot get anywhere else! They put the upmost care into everything they create including the casual, laid back, atmosphere and high quality ingredients. We would highly recommend the regular with a fresh green salad! Dine on their beautiful patio, pick it up, or get it delivered by bike!
FAT GUY'S DELI
Monday - Friday 10:30AM - 6:00PM
Saturday 10:30AM - 5:00PM
Named one of the best sandwiches in Boise, Fat Guy's Deli is always using the freshest local ingredients when possible. They have huge portions and a very welcoming atmosphere. They staff always have recommendations you aren't sure what to try! We suggest the Treasure Melt with a side of their daily soup!
224 N 10TH ST, BOISE, ID 83702
3724 S ECKERT RD, BOISE, ID 83716
404 E PARKCENTER BLVD, BOISE, ID 83706
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 11-5PM
This one of a kind sandwich place is creative and innovative when it comes to making sandwiches. They pair all kinds of flavors together that shouldn't work together but do in a fantastic way. They have three locations throughout the valley, and an expansive menu with many vegetarian and vegan options. We would like to try everything on this menu but by far the pear and sausage sandwich is one of our favorites, be sure to get a lemonade as well because that is what they are known for!
Some of our honorable mentions are Even Stevens, San Francisco Sourdough Eatery, MB Sandwich House, and Soup Kettle Grill. Did we forget one of your favorites? Let us know we would love to try a new spot!
