Love is in the air and this time of year always leaves us feeling giddy and a bit romantic.

Whether it be a first date, or a night out with your significant other you want them to leave your date with a lasting impression!

That is why we have put together a couple plans for date night in the Treasure Valley!

The Classic: Dinner and a Movie

The Village at Meridian has a great set up for the classic dinner and a movie! With over 5 restaurants to choose from. your options for dinner is endless. You can even splurge for VIP tickets at the movie and have your dinner while watching the movie. If you are looking for a more intimate dinner we suggest BodoVino.

BodoVino has 56 different wines on tap, and specializes in Tapas and Fine Italian cuisine. You can also enjoy the patio where they have a large fire-pit set up and a clear view of the fountain show. They have an intimate ambiance that makes you want to stay awhile. After dinner head over to Village Cinema for a movie.

Head on over to Section 37 Axe Room in Garden City to throw some axes and drink some Beer! Theres something about axe throwing that gives you a rush that corn hole or darts can't match! Have a little friendly competition with your date on who can get closest to the target.

After the fun and thrill of axe throwing, go to any of the breweries that line Chinden, most will have a food truck out in the parking lot for some much needed grub! Some of our favorite Breweries are Powderhaus, County Line, Meriwether Cider Company, Twisted District, and Western Collective.

Sometimes you just need to get away, and the Grove Hotel is one of the best places to relax and unwind. The grove hotel is in the heart of downtown Boise and surrounded by tons of activities and things to do. But you don't need to leave the hotel for great food and a romantic atmosphere! They even have a romance package that includes a 50$ dining credit to Trillium Restaurant for two which can be used toward room service or food in the bar, a bottle off champagne or sparkling cider, chocolate truffles and fresh strawberries.

Trillium is an amazing restaurant in the Grove Hotel. It has amazing food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Or go across the street in the plaza to Lucky Fin for some sushi! or Stroll around downtown Boise and Find something new!

The Throwback: Bowling

Sometimes its fun to throw it back and go bowling! You could go to Big Als or Emerald lanes, but our all time favorite place to go is The Bowling Alley in Homedale, ID. We promise this is 100% worth the drive if you are in Boise. They have award winning food, and it is AMAZING! This small town bowling alley treats you like family and makes it a perfect, fun date night spot!

If you have any other ideas for date night let us know! We are alway looking for something fun to do on a night out!
